Billmonitor has published an article in the London Chamber’s London Business Matters Magazine outlining our 2024 Freedom of Information (FOI) research into the impact of the current Crown Commercial Services Mobile Framework RM6261.
Featured on page 48, our Managing Director, Klaus, explains that the framework has delivered significant savings for many public sector organisations. Our analysis indicates that total mobile phone expenditure has decreased by an average of approximately 30%.
However, the results vary considerably. While some organisations have achieved savings of between 70% and 80%, others have realised minimal reductions or, in some cases, experienced increased costs.
Commenting on the findings, Klaus notes that “the mobile framework is not a silver bullet, as a one-size-fits-all approach does not work for such a diverse universe of users.”
Billmonitor’s work with qualifying organisations of all sizes demonstrates that those with atypical usage profiles, smaller entities such as schools and charities, and organisations without dedicated internal resources to review and manage costs are often at greater risk of paying more than necessary.
