We would like to say a big thank you to NHS Providers for a fantastic annual conference. This was the first NHS Providers’ face-to-face flagship conference since 2019, and also the first time Billmonitor exhibited.
There were excellent Keynote speeches from Dr Navina Evans (HEE Chief Exec and NHSE CWO) and Saffron Cordery (NHS Providers), as well as a headline grabbing commitment to NHS Funding from Secretary of State Steve Barclay. Not to be outdone, Amanda Pritchard (CEO NHSE) and Shadow Secretary of state Wes Streeting both gave rousing speeches.
Various speakers focused on the urgent task of clearing backlogs, addressing workforce issues and sorting out the mammoth task of funding the NHS. Billmonitor’s managing director Klaus Henke commented: “We did notice that there was a recurring theme of the NHS to take a ‘data informed approach’ to help address these tasks, something which is right up our alley!”
Billmonitor public sector specialist Sam Fathers said: “It was great to be able to show so many people across the NHS how much money they could save by using Billmonitor’s services – and the reaction was great. One Non-Exec Director even said that our “league tabling was the talk of the show”!’’
