Congratulations to Billmonitor NED Sally Dicketts, who was made a Dame in the New Year Honours List 2023 for her ‘services to education’.
The New Year Honours List recognises the achievements and service of extraordinary people across the UK.
In its official statement, the Cabinet Office said of Sally: “She is a leading board member of the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) since 2017, driving innovation, evidence-based teaching, adaptive leadership and inclusive practice. She became President of The Association of Colleges in 2020, providing strong leadership to over 220 colleges particularly during the pandemic… In 2019, she successfully led Activate Learning through further substantial growth, including mergers with Bracknell & Wokingham College and The Guildford College Group.”
Dame Sally Dicketts DBE joined Billmonitor in July 2022 with an interest in helping the company extend their reach into the further education space. Of the award, she says:
“I am truly honoured and humbled to receive this Damehood. This honour is recognition of all further education. I have been in further education for over 40 years and I will continue supporting the sector to improve the lives and opportunities of our students and their communities.”
